This blog is about a lot of things, but mostly it is about synchronicity, deeper meanings and little connections. I love when synchronicity shows up in my life; I believe that these are signs from the heavens to confirm that I am exactly where I need to be on my path. Everything flows, feathers fall from the sky, and the planets all line up!
Last Sunday, a couple of important things happened. First, it was our community's second ever public Pride Parade. I was eager to attend to show support for my friends and for all those who have had to fight for acceptance. It was time to haul out the rainbow colours!
The second thing that was happening was my monthly Archangel group call with my fellow Angel Tribers who are studying with Kyle Gray. As ever, I was excited to join the call and experience a meditation, wise words and information on our AA (Archangel) Ariel.
I was torn because the time frame for these two events overlapped. I knew I did not have time to participate in the parade if I wanted to listen to the Angel Tribe call. With a small bit of juggling, I managed to hear the call and watch the parade from the sidelines!
I loved studying AA Ariel a little more in-depth. I learned her name means "lioness of God" and from past studies, I knew she was the angel who watches over animals and the natural world, and who brings us prosperity. What I had never heard before is that she is also the angel of social justice, fighting for rights and equality. How perfect for our fledgling Pride Day!!
During the animal guide meditation, I had a wolf come to me, as often happens, but I also got an image of a small red fox. This was new! I shouldn't have been surprised when, after the meditation, Kyle shared about his two animal guides, wolf and - you guessed it - the red fox! Another of those little connections!
Then it was time for me to go to the parade and celebrations, and I was excited to bring the energy of Archangel Ariel with me. How perfect was the timing of this month's theme of equality and standing up for the rights of others!
On my way out the door, I stopped to pet one of my gorgeous tabby cats and I had a realization that made me shake my head. Shreddie is the first male cat I have had in 20 years, and he, in fact, chose us as a tiny kitten. Our nickname for him is Lion Boy!
So without even knowing it, I have been conjuring up the energy of AA Ariel in so many ways! My community activities, my participation in Angel Tribe and my choice of pets are all infused with this fiery protective archangel! I don't have to know what all these little connections mean other than: You are just fine. You are where you are supposed to be.
In closing, I leave you with the energy of Ariel and also of my Lion Boy! Namaste!
