LEVEL ONE: The Reiki symbol

Teaching the healing art of Reiki includes the use of various symbols. At one time, these were kept secret and were not allowed to be written down. Times have changed, and the symbols are now accessible to all.
The Reiki symbol translates to "universal life force energy": the top part (the Rei) meaning "universal" and the bottom part (Ki) meaning "life force energy". It is commonly referred to as the place where the spiritual and physical meet.
Level One is also known as First Degree.
How to draw the symbols

Practice writing it on paper, in the air with your finger or whole hand, or visualize it. It will become second nature!
LEVEL TWO: Hon sha ze sho nen

Three symbols are taught in Level Two. This symbol is used for distant healing. Don't get it mixed up with the Reiki symbol, as they look similar!
LEVEL TWO: Se he ki

This is known as the mental/ emotional symbol. This is how I was taught the symbol, although it is found in a different form on the internet.
LEVEL THREE: Dai Koo Myo

The Dai Koo Myo is known as the Master Symbol. It is also found in different forms on the internet.
